Pool replastered

I just had my pool replastered dark blue. It's been 2 weeks.

I have been brushing the pool 1 - 2 times per day and the chemicals are in balance. The pool still needs acid every other day or so.

There are a few streaks on the steps, a small white spot on the bottom and some different coloration on the bottom.

Are these to be expected? Is there anything I can do (or should have done)?

Darker colored finishes are more likely to have mottling (that spelling does not look right ... ). Pretty typical and not much can do about it.

You will find that it changes and evens out quite a bit with time.

Thanks. Other than brushing and keep the chemicals in balance, should I do anything else.

Brush, Balance and try and keep any other organic materials, like leaves, bugs etc from laying on the bottom for a while.

I think I waited three weeks to put my Hayward back in the pool.
