My PB's bid includes the Hayward DE4826 filter. Is there any downside to spending the extra ~$75-$100 and upsizing to the DE6020. Are the plumbing connections the same .. is the 1 HP pump adequate ...?

Pool is freeform 32' long 22'4" at widest, down to 18'

3'9" to 5'3" deep

Current specs are

1.0 HP Tristar SP3210EE Pool Pump
1.5 HP Tristar SP3215EE Water Feature Pump
1.0 HP Tristar SP3210EE Spa Pump
1.0 HP Polaris QT Air Blower
Hayward DE4826 Filter
Hayward 400,000 BTU Low NOx Heater
Tigershark RC9990 Robotic Pool Cleaner
Goldline Aquarite Salt/Chlorine Generator
Aqualogic PS-8 Wireless Tabletop Remote
2 Color Logic LED Pool Lights
1 Color Logic LED Spa Light

Egg, welcome to TFP!!

Upgrading the filter won't hurt and can improve filtration and reduce the frequency of cleaning the filter. 1 hp sounds like plenty for the pool because you're not using the filter pump to run the water features nor spa :) For ~$100 I would get the 6020.

I hope you get to swim in the pool soon  :sun:
