Hello everyone! I've been getting a lot of good info here because I've been dealing with a major pool fiasco. I guess It's time I joined and said thanks! My pump suddenly quit working a couple of months ago. I'm a pretty handy guy, so I figured I could figure it out and fix it, but I got busy with work, and family and I just couldn't find out why the pump wasn't working. I finally hired an electrician to help me troubleshoot. Turns out some of the old metal conduit under the driveway/garage corroded. Long story short, I fixed it, got the pump running and have been clearing my swamp the last few days. I guess I could start a new thread if anyone is interested in hearing the full story.
Other than that, this is my first pool. I've had it for about 2 years, and I'm always learning new things. It's a 33,000 gallon Anthony pool built in 1971. The previous owner told me that it was built by someone at Anthony pools to be a show pool. It has a bunch of old and newer stuff. Some works and some doesn't. I'd like to eventually get everything updated and working. I'm sure you will see more of me around here.

Got any pics of the pool to share with us?

Yep.
This was last summer.

We have young children, so we got a fence. It really gives us peace of mind.
