Question Proper pipe angle for new backwash valve?

Hi! I am replacing a broken backwash valve attached to my new Pentair FNS Plus 60 filter.
I noticed that all my piping done at 45 degree angle to reduce resistance and increase efficiency.
However, the pipes going in and out of the backwash valve are at 90 degree angle.
I have the opportunity to change the angle but should I ?
Will it break anything by increasing water flow especially at startup?
    What do you pros think?

Any idea/suggestion/advice highly appreciated in advance.

I am attaching the picture of my setup.

Switching 90s to 45s improves things just a little, as long as the change doesn't introduce any additional fittings somewhere else. It won't cause any problems.

    Welcome to TFP,

No, it won't hurt anything by reducing the impedance on that stream of flow. Less restriction should be better if anything. It may be more than you want to do, but if it were mine, I would prefer having a multi-port valve if there was room to umb it in. Just an option to consider is all. Enjoy the forum!
