Anybody uses or heard of a motorized solar cover reel?

I've been tempted to try a cordless drill motor and gears to automate uncovering mine. I get up at 0430 for farm work and to get ready for work so I'd like to have the cover open later when the sun is out. Right now it's either on all day or off all day.

sorry to be vague I was refering to an automatic pool cover. Heres the brand that the company I work for sells: http://www.coverpools.com/ They have very good customer service. Large initial cost with auto covers and recuring cost with replacing the cover, but amazing convenience, insulation, and reduced chemical consumption.
