After spending a number of years in Southern California and having a pool in our backyard for the last 20 years we have realized that we miss the pool. We moved to the Atlanta area about 1 year ago.
Anyway, it seems finding a builder in SoCal was quite easy with a fair amount of competition. While living in SoCal I had a pool built from the ground up in the High Desert and then had another resurfaced in Yorba Linda. I do miss SoCal and the great weather but we have come to enjoy the Atlanta area as well.
Anyway, as the title states, we are considering building a pool in our Acworth home. I can't imagine anything other than a gunite pool.
Any recommendations on a builder in our general area and can anyone provide some insights on what a fairly basic pool with spa might cost in this market.
