Ants in Automation Control

A quick google search on how to get rid of ants will give you multiple ways if doing it.
One way is to take some sideway kids chalk and draw a barrier around the automation panel. The ants won't cross it. They will be repelled by the calcium carbonate it's made from. Seems silly but it's supposed to work.
Try to see if you can see where they are coming from and attack the colony there.

I see you live in Florida. If they are crazy raspberry ants, good luck. They will kill themselves to build a bridge to get into electrical equipment.

Might try a product with Fipronil in it. A friend of mine has a license and sprayed it. It seems to have worked. You can find a lower concentration over the counter product under the name Taurus SC. I no longer have problems with any kind of ants.
