Pump housing model #

Greetings, Just got here. Got a cracked Hayward pump housing {freeze damage}. Can't read the model # anymore. Can I somehow tell so I can get another one?

It is a power-flo pump and you can get the size from the motor label but I can't see it very well. Let me know the label HP and service factor and I can tell you the model number.

Hi Mark, Yes, it's a Power-Flo Model # S48 2A2 I think the letter after the 8 is an N not sure.

SP-1510-Z-E is the model #. There were/are several versions of the PowerFlo and you have one of the earliest versions. A quick search popped up this site:

If the pump is old, you would probably be better off getting a new one.

I just put bearings and seal in the motor. If I can't fix this housing or find one I'll rework one I have here. There's a MAX-FLO here I'll have a look at that, I've been wanting to go through it, to have a spare.

First I'll see if I can patch or find a part for this one, I would like to get some service from it, having just gone through the motor.

Greetings bobo, That isn't the right housing, but thanks. What is this Bonanza maybe I can get the correct on there?

In the mean time I did a patch, with a soldering iron and a clamp.

We need the Hot Tub, we're in it every night. Wifey skis for pay, when she comes home, after feeding the animals, the tub is the place to be.

For some reason I was only able to upload one photo of the repair.

I'm filling the tub now, when I kick the tub on it doesn't seem to leak.
