Perhaps a strange question. Pool water safe to drink?

Here's the scenario: Home water supply is cut off due to broken pipe and plumber can't come for a few days.

Would it be safe to use pool water for drinking/cooking if the water is balanced e.g. CYA=80, FC=9, CC=0.5 or less, and other parameters also balanced.

If not a yes/no question, what are the other considerations?

No. Not safe. Good for flushing toilets, though.

The drain on your water heater should provide you with enough drinking/cooking water.

But I'm wondering why it's not safe, since it's chlorinated. Is the CYA the problem, or what else?

Short summary: if pool water is all there is that you could conceivably drink, than it probably isn't that bad. But if you have any other plausible choice use it instead.
