Has anyone wired up an LED light that would indicate when the pump is actually running? I have the Pentair itelliflo pump, and I want to wire in a LED light to turn on when the frost protection turns on.

I haven't, but if you can wire a pump you can wire an led in with it. Just make sure you get one that is rated for outdoor use. I'm planning on putting a start-stop station with a pilot light and a timer on my booster pump. I've found a lot of push buttons and pilot lights that are not rated to be outdoors.
