Made an error during SLAM - Need advice

I am in the midst of SLAMing the pool I took a pH test and noticed it was super high. What I didn't realize is that the test is unreliable. The pH was 7.5 when I started. So, I added a bunch of acid to bring it down-which I don't believe was necessary. I expect that I'm somewhere around 7.0-7.2. Am I ok or do I need to counter balance this???

Thanks

How much acid did you add? If you plug the before numbers into poolmath and then scroll down to Effects of Adding Chemicals, it will tell you approximately what happened to the pH when you added the acid. If you're at 7 to 7.2, I wouldn't get excited about it. Just fix it when the SLAM is done.
