    I can get to a sub-forum as indicated above but no where do I see a Post New Thread button in the upper left.
    I see Become a TFP Supporter
    A line of Menu items under that...
    Aline of links with one that says New Posts which takes you to other Threads.
    Nothing which says "Post New Thread"

    If you go say here, there is a "+ Post New Thread" button just below everything you listed above. Note that you have to be logged in for this to work, though obviously you were logged in to post the above message.

    Thanks for the feedback JasonLion,
    I just needed to go one level further in then I was, but you got me on track.

    I posted two additional threads about filters. First one is under the wrong category (sorry), move if you can. Second question (after I figured out how this works) was where it belonged under "Equipment - Build, Use, and Repair". Thanks again for the assistance.
