Have a salt water pool, cover on Rocky Reel. Very tired of having to replace every year or so. Live in rural location, no pool service here. Looking for suggestions on making cut to size edges more durable. Either a tape,or adhesive applied and folded over or?????? Thanks for suggestions.

What is happening to the edges? Most of my covers have failed when the bubbles come off and are very brittle. Usually in the second or third year of use.
