North Dallas pool tech - to replace pump and hook up to old Aqualink

Hi - looking for recommendations for a technician who could help me out with some replacing my old single speed pump with a VS and hook this up to my equally old Aqualink. Local pool stores have told me I need to start over with all new controller and from what I've read on this forum, that doesn't seem right. I guess I need some advise initially and then assistance with doing the job. I live in McKinney, TX.

So you want to upgrade to a VS pump depending on the pump your it may not talk with your aqua link first may i know the brand of your system I'm assuming its jandy.. do you have any model numbers/verisons or even better any pictures then i can tell you exactly what you need.
