Chlorine In The Winter

I keep my pool open during the winter. Should my chlorine level be the same as it is in the summer months.I keep all other readings the same as the summer months. I don't swim in the pool, I just like to look at the clear water out of my window like it's a little pond.
Thanks

When the water is quite cold you want to raise the PH just a little, but otherwise maintain as normal. Chlorine will last longer, and brief lapses in maintain the chlorine level are less likely to cause problems, so you can let the FC level fluctuate more than normal, but the ideal target is the same as always.
