Stenner Pump Winter Storage

Whats the best thing to do for the stenner during the closed pool winter months? I was thinking I just need to disconnect the twist off portion of the pump and house inside until the pool is ready to be reopened.

is this correct? anything else i need to do?

You are correct. You only need to bring the tube/roller assembly inside. The motor will be fine as long as something is keeping rain off of it.
