Hi all , I read pool school followed instructions ,the pool calculator is a great tool & article on borates very easy to follow ,well here's my #'s:
8/1 (adjusted t/a & ph 2 days before)

8/2 added borates (borax) 40 ppm as per calculator &shut swg to lower cl, adjusted cya.Turned on swg set at 35% on 8/6 :

From8/4 untill today ph stayed the same it's at 7.8 now ,this is the longest time i didn't have to add acid & have swg on such a low setting .Thanks everyone for all the great info everything went smoothly.
