Ok so we closed the pool. Unhooked everything, drained the water. Covered it... no pillow.. told by dealer we need no pillow. 21ft round doughboy... put on cover and have let rain fall on it... my question is how much should we leave on the top of the cover... should I get a automatic pump to take water off... I need some help.... thank you

I use some clear tubing from lowes to siphon the water off. You could use a pump if you wanted. I usually leave some water on it but I dont let it get too deep, just enough to hold the cover down. A good wind will create a vaccum and make the cover mushroom up if there is nothing to hold it down.
