    Cell phone ?

What is the differance between a ring tone and a ring back tone?
    Thanks

A ringtone is what you will hear when someone calls you. Basically the ringer for the phone and is played on the phone.

A ringback tone is what another caller will hear when they call you. This is played on the network through the calling party's phone earpiece(landline or cell).
