I'm trying to look into an issue that my buddy is having with his spa. He says the controller for his spa reads the water temp at 112* but it is cold to the touch. I have yet to actually look at it in person. I'm just trying to get some info together before I head over there. My first thoughts were a bad thermocouple in the heating circuit or a faulty control unit. He claims the circulation pump is running so I would think that aspect of the controls is working properly. Does anyone here have any experience w/ the thermocouples on spas? Location, cost, troubleshooting?
