Flagstone Coping Edge Treatment

That looks terrible, it's supposed to look natural. It looks like they chipped perpendicular to the edge many times using an air tool or something instead of from the top. It seems odd and I'm not sure why they would even do that. It's almost like they did it after it was cut to try and smooth the edge or something. There is not much left to take off and doing so will make a big mess in you pool. You should definitely have them fix it either by replacing the stones or carefully working with the existing ones to make them look more natural. I can't see it being that easy to fix though.
