hairline crack repair on concrete pool

standard 20x40 in ground concrete pool has a foot long 1/32 hairline crack in one of the corners starting from the water line down.
losing about an 1" per day. this is more than evaporation alone so it could be leaking.

* what product/method is used to repair this? lowering the water level a foot or two for proper repair is a possibility.

a very light blue colored product to better match the concrete finish so that the repair is less obviously would be a big plus.

You can search plaster repair on here to find many threads. EZ patch is often mentioned.

One thing you need to think bout is why did your plaster crack? Info on your pool would be great as well as some pictures. How old is your pool? Is the water balanced? Is plaster in good condition? Is this on a step?

A foot long 1/32 plaster crack could cause the leak of 1 inch per day but there would probably have to be more going on.

Have you tapped the plaster in the area surrounding the crack? How does it feel?

Have you done a food color test?

ez patch seem to be nothing more than over priced hydraulic cement with a pool labeling. would consider paying such premium if it was color matching.
3lb of hydraulic cement for $43 is nuts. similar stuff at home depot is $6.

will try the food color test in the next few days to confirm leaking.

pool is ~18 year old. plaster is good everywhere. just this one hairline crack in one of the corner.
