The little vial I test my salt with has black stains that I would love to get rid of. I can barely make out the 10ml which I need to be able to see. Picture: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j44/tejas_ruthie/photo_zpse0157b5d.jpg

Normal soap like ivory doesn't cut it, and I put it in the dishwasher (top shelf) and even the dishwasher didn't put a dent in the black stains.

Suggestions on how to remove? Maybe muriatic acid on a q-tip would work?

Same here, though my pill has some black at the seams which Ieaves a little black dot on the bottom center of the vial. Cleaning the white residue off the sides takes a sheet of paper towel every other test sometimes more. Since I can still see the 10ml line even with the residue in there.
