Not showing correct salt level

3 Years ago I replaced the motherboard and cell on my Aqua Rite system. About a month ago, the salt level started reading off by more than 1000 causing the cell to not produce chlorine. I realize that the numbers aren't going to be exact, I just need it close enough to generate. I reset it a few times using the auto-super-auto method. It eventually showed high enough to generate. After a week or so, it was low again. I took the water and cell to Pinch a Penny. They said that the cell was working, but I again had no chlorine. They said that it is probably the motherboard.

Is there something else that I can look for or another type of reset that I can do to bring the numbers up to where they belong? Am I looking at buying another board after only 3 years? :(
