Yet another closing question...

My husband and I don't feel comfortable closing our pool. I booked the closing through my local PB, I was going to add chlorine and use Polyquat ahead of time. I talked to PB this morning to confirm closing and he said they use Pool Magic and I don't need to use anything else. Does this sound right?

Google "Pool Magic" and see what it is. I don't know anything about it other than I am skeptical of anything "magic".

Pool Magic is an enzyme product (proprietary) and phosphate remover. While it shouldn't do any harm to the pool, it won't do much good either.

I'd stick with doing the bleach and algaecide and have them give you a discount for not using it.

Pool magic is amazing stuff, it magically lightens ones wallet of $20.

Waste of money, SLAM 2 dats before and poly when you close are all you require.
