Most of my Hayward parts (pump and filter) have a part number stamped on them somewhere. Look for SP-XXXX or SPX-XXXX.

Here is a parts breakdown with the components of a Hayward Sandmaster: http://www.inyopools.com/pool_parts_...nd_master.aspx

I would try to find out which one you have the SM1600T or the SM1700T before buying parts. It should be figured out by measuring the width of the tank. 16" = SM1600, 17" = SM1700

On the inside of the valve I found SP0714C . I measured the tank it was 19'' across . The next question I have is the lateral center pipe replaceable or repairable ? It seems to be glued in place the one on mine is broken in half .

Don't think it's repairable. You'd need to buy the centerpipe assembly. You could reuse the laterals themselves.

Can you post a link? I can't find anything for 0714T1.

You can fix the broken one. 1 1/2" coupling and a piece of 1 1"2 pipe.
