Pump reccomendations PLEASE :)

Welcome to TFP!

You probably won't see a big drop in your bill from a pump change. A vacuum and waterfall need a certain amount of flow, and nothing will make a significant improvement to the efficiency of a pump that meets that flow requirement.

Post your electric rate, sizes for both pumps and how much you run them so someone can give you good advice.

What pump is dead? In your post you say Super II with not HP rating. In your signature is says 1.5HP Super Pump. The Super Pump and Super II are very different.

For some savings, you could just replace the motor with an equivalent size 2-speed motor and seal kit. Although you may save more by down-sizing the motor and impeller since it looks like the secondary pump runs the waterfall and pressure cleaner.

Post up pictures of the pump and motor nameplate.

That looks like a Super II which is a big pump that moves a lot of water ... which you do not apparently need moved.
It is a 1.5HP motor with a 1.33 Service factor ... HP * SF = 2.0 SFHP.

I would recommend looking for a smaller 1HP 2-speed motor and matching impeller and seal kit. This should be cheaper to buy that a 1.5HP 2-speed motor and the 1HP will be cheaper to run on both high and low speeds.

I also doubt you really need to be running for 8 hours everyday. Read This: Determine Pump Run Time

Oh, verify that your pump is wired for 230V and not 115V. Nearly all 2-speed motors are 230V.
