pool pump recommendation

Can anyone put in their 2 cents about a pool pump for 12x24 above ground Intex. I have a 1/2 hp 1600 gph but doesnt circulate enough.

If that is the stock pump that came with the intex it is probably not really 1/2 hp. A standard above ground pool pump 1/2 hp to 1 hp should be more than enough to circulate the water in your pool. If you are getting a weak return flow try backwashing the filter and see if the flow improves.

Thanks Zea3, Actually came home from a short outing and the thing wont even come on now! It's been really loud lately and probably on its last "leg".
