I have been using a 2 speed AO Smith motor on a Hayward Superpump body for about two years now, and the other day it stopped running. It will spin up on the high speed terminal, then slowly reduce in speed, then click off (thermal cutoff?). Connecting power to the low speed terminal, the pump does not even spin. I've swapped my single speed motor back in for the time being, so water is being turned over in the pool. Is it possible to fix the motor, or is the failure state considered terminal?
