We have an above ground pool, and after much use one week, my dh check filter and saw that we may be getting the start of algae.

Our water was clear, didn't see sign of algae, but only in filter (tidbid). We decided to used the HTH Green to Blue Shock System, Phase I turned our pool blue, phase II turned our pool green!!

We then vacumm to waste...cloudy!! Each day we get this residue of **** on the bottom of pool. Looks like soggy cereal. We are very discouraged, seems like each time we use chemicals we get a worst outcome!! :/

Welcome to TFP!!!

We do not believe in magic potions like that system as they rarely work as advertised. Removing algae requires 1 thing: adequate chlorine.
