Pump Run Times

How many hrs should you run your pump, I would like to give it a break and also conserve energy this is my current setup.



1am-8am Low setting 30% pump speed
9am-12pm High Setting 75% pump speed
1pm-8pm Low setting 30%
9pm-12 High high settings 75%

Short answer ... run as long as you need to keep the pool clean enough for your liking.

I dont know your pool setup or demands but 18 hours seems a bit toooooo much IMHO.
