    Pump Run Times

    If this is in the forum please list the link.

    How many hrs should you run your pump, I would like to give it a break and also conserve energy this is my current setup.

    1am-8am Low setting 30% pump speed
    9am-12pm High Setting 75% pump speed
    1pm-8pm Low setting 30%
    9pm-12 High high settings 75%

    IG 15000 gal 16x30 Gunite w/stonescapes-mini-pebbles (Midnight Blue), Hayward PROLOGIC Automation panel, Hayward 2HP VS pump, Hayward Swim Clear C3030 cartridge filter ,LED 5 color light, Pool Shark Electric cleaner, pool build finished on 8/15/2014 k-2006 test kit no spa or heater

    Short answer ... run as long as you need to keep the pool clean enough for your liking.

    I dont know your pool setup or demands but 18 hours seems a bit toooooo much IMHO.
