Unfortunately, I did not read the closing instructions well enough before we started the closing process. Pool water below the pump intake valve now. I did not shock the pool first. Here are my levels this morning:

I bought a winter cover; pillow; and AquaPill to treat the water for winterizing. Pool water is clean. Is the AqualPill (from Pool Supply World) all that I need to put in the water for my climate? Someone there said I could add antifreeze to the water. Is that done? I assumed the water would freeze, but stay clear because of the AquaPill.
I am a new pool owner this year. I am supposed to take the pool down, but have read that many INTEX POOL OWNERS leave this pool up year round and winterize. Just not sure what that means, even by reading the specific INTEX POOL OWNERS guide. We plan to leave the pool up; temperatures could get as low as 35 degrees below zero; wind chill can be double that.
If I read correctly, the danger I may experience is if the weather here warms up the pool water and algae grows. Can anyone comment further? Should I add bleach to my water before inserting the AquaPill? I do not have the pump available to circulate the water. Is that a problem now? Thinking I will just add the AquaPill and close. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
