Defeating algae without running filter 24/7?

Hi All

Is it possible to beat algae without running the filter 24/7 like outlined in the pool school?

Looks like I have a bit of algae developing but cant run the pump all night as the neighbours complained last time as it is right next to their bedroom

I imagine the SLAM would work running the pump only during the day, the process will just take longer.

hopefully. That is what I am currently planning on doing once I get my CYA back to a reasonable level. Have learnt my lesson about not testing all levels in winter
