Removing copper bars in Intex Krystal Clear SWG 8110

Appreciate the excellent post at http://www.troublefreepool.com/threads/55776-How-to-remove-copper-bars-in-Intex-SWG for removing the copper bars from another Intex SWG model. I have the 8110, and my copper bars don't look the same. I can't determine how to remove them - they don't seem to want to pull apart, or I'm not pulling hard enough for fear of breaking the housing. Any ideas?

Have you removed the plug from the back side like the "how to" mentioned? You need to get access to those screw in posts to remove the bars. Screw the whole assembly back into the pump and remove the connector from the back while it's still in the pump. You'll have more leverage for removing the plug. Then remove the assembly from the pump.
