Started raining while draining, should I be worried?

I'm in the middle of draining 14,000 gallons out from from my pool, which holds 21,000, to drop my high CYA and CH. It has not rained in a few days, but it just started raining. Am I at risk of my pool floating out of the ground?

I will have about 7,000 gallons and 22 inches of water by the end of this, which is about 2 hours away.

How deep is your ground water? Around here it is measured in 100s of feet, so a little rain does not matter.

Not to high. Nearest drainage canal has standing water, and it's elevation is about 10-15 feet lower relative to us I believe. Unless I go and dig a hole in the yard, I won't know the true level.

Whatever rain is going in your pool just adds a little extra weight that should help keep your pool from floating. And may lessen the amount of water you need replace.

It's not a problem anymore, I have the pool filling back up. It even stopped raining. It was down pouring pretty good while it was draining, which had me concerned.
