Sta Rite help needed

I have a sta-rite max-e-therm heater, sta-rite heater control box(mx 1800) and the sta-rite in-house remote
I need to replace the pump and would like to go with the Pentair VS. Just not sure how and if this can be done with my out dated automated system

It's a little slower on this site this time of year, but hopefully someone will be able to help you. I know that the Pentair VS can be programmed at the pump with very basic programs, but for more automation it connects either to a Pentair automation system or to an IntelliComm® II Interface Adaptor that connects to some, but not all, automation systems.
