I've had high CYA for a while. I started near 120 and I'm down to around 90 now. It's manageable. From what I've read, it even takes less chlorine to maintain the desired level. There are problems. You can't reasonably SLAM and you can't easily test your pH. It also takes a lot of reagents to test. If we could just get some rain, I'll get it lower.
