Is my IC40 dead or fuse issue?

While SLAMMING, I had unplugged the power on the Intelliclor IC40. When I plugged it back, there were no lights on the unit. I checked the fuse and it had blown. I replaced it with a regular (non-slow blow) 10 amp fuse since that's what was installed from the factory. These also immediately blew. I installed a slo-blow fuse, per the manual. This also blew. Any ideas? Will this be my fourth cell in 5 years?

wish i could help...did you try calling Pentair? They'll probably just try to sell you a new unit but you never know.

Called Pentair today. Rep immediately told me the cell was defective. Somehow it was drawing too much power.

Have actually replaced the fuse with a bit larger capacity fuse in the transformer, no more issues and cell is working fine.

It takes a 10 Amp. What did you increase it to? Slo-blow or regular? Thanks

My IC40 is wired into my IntelliTouch power panel and it is on a 12A mini-breaker.
