Pretty slick idea for an inexpensive on ground pool. Love to see the total cost if excavating the hole, bricks, decking and pool.

    Totally love it.

    Well done!!!

Thanks, ,many hours of work but i think totally worth it!
The deck was pretty inexpensive, see how long it survives at sun and rain...

I can share that, let me try to convert in US dollars:

    Hole 6x3x1mt (20'x10'x40''): 90$
    Pool: 780$
Bricks, cement, sand an iron around 150$
Foam: 400$ (i had to fill the walls between liner and bricks with 5 layer of foam)
    Wood structure: 80$
Deck: 300$ (pine treated wood IV class, don't know if it will last...)
    Inox screws: 50$
    Other screws: 100$

Total around 2500$ and many hours of handwork!

Just mount coping to the top of the block and you are good.
