This is my 1st time in over 1 year trying to get the pool ready. The sand filter and saltwater conversion system will not power on. I have an above ground pool. I have plugged other items to the extenstion chord and they work fine? Is it possible I just need new chords?

I'm sorry no one answered your question. The sand filter is not powered so I presume you mean the pump as part of the circulation/filtration system. Are these plugged into a circuit breaker? Maybe that got tripped.
