3 weeks away=no chlorine / Where should I start?

Latest test results:
fc=0
cc=0
ph=7.5, can I trust this number?
ta=70
ch=100
cya=40

I'm not sure what numbers to trust or what I need to do 1st.

Also, i backwash my filter every other week or so (low bather load) but i've never opened it to clean it out. Maybe I should start with that?

the chlorine/cya chart doesn't cover my low cya. should I raise that?

What does your water look like?

If your pump was running for at least 30 mins. before you tested you can trust all of the numbers.

If your water looks okay I would add some chlorine. If it is green I would start a SLAM (link below)

To see other FC/CYA combinations not listed on the chart there is a LINK at the bottom with the raw number chart developed by chem geek. With CYA 40 your minimum CYA is 2.9 and your target is 4.6

Kim asks the key question, how does your water look? If it is clear I would bring it up to at least 10 and do an Overnight FC Loss Test (OCLT) tonight just to make sure nothing is growing. If the OCLT is clear let the FC drift down to your target level.

If it is cloudy, green or you fail the OCLT start a SLAM.

I don't know, but it is also telling me that my salt is low.

Others will answer up (I don't have a SWCG) but I believe it shuts down when the salt goes low.

Keep us posted on the SLAM and double check those salt levels.
