    Converting from Bromine to Chlorine--HELP!

    So, after using bromine this husband and I have decided that we'd like to convert to chlorine. So do I do it before we close our pool for the year or do I wait until next year? Also, what steps do I have to take to do this and how expensive is it going to be to do?

    What form of bromine did you use in the pool?

    Welcome to the forums. This has been discussed many times in the forums (I'm providing some links to read) Hate to reinvent the wheel. The cost associated will vary depending on your pool size.
    You can just add chlorine, in place of the bromine, but treat it like a bromine pool for the first couple years, unless you do a complete water change. See this post:
