Ultraflow shaft seal removal problems

I recently replaced the impeller and seals on my Pentair Ultraflow pump. The only seal I didn't replace was the shaft seal, which of course, is now leaking. I skipped it because I could not get it out of the seal plate and I could not get the seal plate off of the motor. Prying only bent/crushed the baffling on back and I didn't want to crack it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the seal plate off or shaft seal out of the plate?

The seal plate has four screws that go through the motor mounting holes. You remove the nuts and the seal plate should come right off. You might have to tap on it with a rubber hammer to get it off.

James, I found those but that thing would not come off for anything. I wonder if some idiot glued it on or something.

If the impeller and the nuts are off, the seal plate should come right off.
