With you're extensive pool experience, I've been able to start my backyard oasis and the family has enjoyed a summer of swimming with no trouble. With the help of my pool boy, we'll call him my husband hehe, I've set up our Intex pool, added an in the wall skimmer, sand filter and salt water chlorine generator and enjoyed beautiful, clear water all summer long! I've followed your method and had zero problems! I've been able to prove to my skeptical pool boy how we can have a nice pool with minimal work and money. Thanks TFP!
