    SLAM completed-what now?

As expected, I returned from vacation to find a yucky pool. I tell you what, I was ---><--- this close to calling the pool guys in, and I'm so glad I didn't!

So long story short, I've been SLAMming this week and i feel like I'm good. OCLT passed, CC is 0, and the water looks amazing. I vacuumed it daily and have back washed the filter plenty.

My question is this, how long does the SLAM level need to be maintained? Do I just let my FC drift back down? Should I add any chlorine in the process? I don't want to NOT add any, but I don't want to keep it super high forever either. I guess I am not sure what level to aim for.

Looks like you're golden. Just let it drift back down between the minimum and target level for whatever your cya level is. There is a chlorine/cya chart in pool school.

+1, just test daily and wait until it comes down to where you need to start adding again.
