    Natural Pools

I've just started hearing about natural pools. The water is supposedly sanitized by hydroponic plants and special micro organisms and no chemicals are used.
There's a TV show called The Pool Master that deals with them.
Does anyone know anything about them?

There has been some discussion this year on these, you can use the search box in the upper right to find those threads.

My opinion is that they aren't great. A pond has a much larger area and eco system to naturally process the filth in it. To me those pools are only slightly better than a muddy puddle and much more upkeep than a chlorine pool with no real benefit.

That said, I am no expert on them and not here to bash anybody who chooses to go that route with their pool.
