SLAMing but forgot to lower PH

Added chlorine to start SLAM process, but forgot to lower PH! Can I just add enough acid to reduce to 7.2 based on the 7.6 reading I got before I added the chlorine?

That should be fine, make sure you have your TA entered as well as that affects the dosing calculations.

Ok thanks. Could I test TA after adding chlorine or will that be inaccurate as well?

    You can test TA.
