Aquapro PRO1100 Circuit

Hi all,

I'm looking at installing the aquapro PRO1100 heat pump and had a question regarding the circuit required. From the specs it uses only 26 amps. So why do they recommend a 50 amp circuit? If I could run it as 30 amps it would be much cheaper since I have about 80ft of cable to run. If it really needs 50 amps that's fine. I'm just wondering what the reason would be.
