I have gone through two covers in just 8 years with our 16x32 ABG oval. Is there any disadvantage to getting the next larger size since we can barely stretch our covers over the air pillows and use the cable tightener. We hang bottles from each grommet anyway and replace the bottles if necessary during the winter (some freeze, crack and then leak out the water that we use as ballast.) Our present cover leaks at the seams and let rain water and snow melt through all last winter. True, the Pool Rover after about 4 uses combined with running the filter for three straight days cleared the water after opening this season, but would prefer to have another new and solid cover but one that we don't struggle with trying to get it over the air pillows. (Forget warranties on the two older covers, both local firms declared bankruptcy shortly after they sell their wares to us victims, then reopen under a new corporation...) Going to give doheny's a try this time.
